Amber Drake is a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International who provides services for women and their families in the greater Fort Wayne area.  She became truly passionate about birth after having her first daughter in June 2008.  Amber lives with her husband, stepson, two daughters, and son.  In her personal journey Amber has experienced both sides of the birthing spectrum from highly medicated to going without medication altogether.  As a doula, Amber has supported women who have achieved birth without medication, with medication, or by cesarean.  Amber believes above all that a mother and her partner have the right to emotional, physical, and evidence-based informational support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period regardless of the means by which they plan to deliver.  She is passionate about coming alongside her clients at a sweetly vulnerable time of transition in their lives.
